Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Induction

June 21, 2009

One of the few events that my company actually allows us to attend every year is the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

This year’s ceremony was just as wonderful as expected, with inductees Bon Jovi & Richie Sambora, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Roger Cook & Roger Greenaway, Jason Mraz, Tom Jones, etc. and performances by Clint Black, Daughtry, James Taylor, Bebe Winans, Five for Fighting, Andy Williams, Ryan Tedder and all of the inductees.

I was going to do a whole big blog entry of the event (I even took notes!), but I figured I’d instead just give you guys some video to go with the links interspersed throughout the post.

One of my favorite moments? The finale, when the Broadway cast of Hair came out and everyone sang along to “Let the Sunshine In.” Makes me want to join the cast. Minus the nude scene and all.
